Information you provide

WDIS processes your account email, profile information, Harvest records, uploaded photos and videos, Hunting Dog information and social interactions to operate the service.

Location and visibility

Public Harvests show approximate locations. Exact locations are stored separately with owner-only access. Public content can be viewed by others; followers-only content is available to permitted followers; private content is intended for its owner. Avoid including exact locations or other sensitive information in captions or photos.

AI species identification

When you request identification, your submitted image is sent to an AI processing provider. Suggestions may be incorrect and should be checked. We record request time, user identifier, outcome and usage limits, not image contents in usage logs.

Storage and processing

Account information and uploaded media are processed through our hosting, authentication, storage and AI service providers. Content remains stored while needed to operate your account and the service. Copies already downloaded or shared by other people cannot be recalled.

Dogs and social information

Dog profiles may include names, breeds, photos and optional registration information. Harvest history follows Harvest visibility. Comments, reactions, follows and reports are processed to support community features and safety. Reporter identity is not intended for disclosure to reported users.

Shared Harvests and people in photos

When a harvest is attributed to another hunter, we process the proposed attribution, the approval decision, the time of approval and a private link code so we can verify the answer. Guest hunters are asked only for a first name — no email, phone number or address. Until approval, the harvest is not published in public feeds or the public map. If you mark someone as hidden, WDIS creates a separate blurred or cropped copy of the photo and only that copy is shown publicly; your original file is never altered. Approval can be withdrawn from the same private link, and the link can be renewed or revoked by the uploader.

Trail cameras

Trail camera details, including any exact camera position you save, are private to you and are never included in public Trail Cam Stories, Hunting Party sharing, link previews or public queries. Captures, their photos, timestamps and species information stay private until you choose to share a capture. A shared Trail Cam Story shows the species, your chosen caption and a general region or country only — never the camera name or its exact position. Species identification for a capture runs only when you request it. Deleting a capture removes its photos and any public story; deleting your account removes your trail cameras, captures, media and party shares.

Contribution signals

Approved Shared Harvests and claimed harvests are recorded as small contribution events on the uploader’s profile. These are kept separate from Harvest Score and are only visible to the account owner.

To request access, correction or deletion of your account or personal data, contact tomaspnes85@gmail.com. We may verify your identity before acting. Some records may need to be retained for security, dispute handling or legal obligations; we will explain relevant limitations when responding.
